Thinking about APPLYING TO ART SCHOOL? Already booked to start an ART or DESIGN degree in SEPTEMBER 2012? Based in GLASGOW or the surrounding area?

If you fancy some ADVANCE, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE check us out! The nicest and friendliest studios in town, IRONBBRATZ, have just launched their BROOD programme!

BROOD is a 6 month pilot project, to offer shared space and professional development opportunities to six people at reduced prices (£50/mnth). This is a perfect chance to get some experience before launching into the real world!

Six recent art school graduates have been selected already and are waiting to be matched up with six PRE-ART SCHOOLERS with the aim of offering a new route of exploration into peer-to-peer mentorship/support.

In addition to the space provision, there will be a series of seminars/peer reviews addressing topics around: basic finance for self-employed creatives, creating proposals, and creating/developing your profile.  These seminars will be led by external professionals and followed-up with peer-to-peer workshops to enable the skills gained to embed.

This opportunity will be run from MARCH 5TH – END OF AUGUST and requires a commitment for the full 6 months.  A major aspect of the programme is a PROJECT/EXHIBITION AT THE GLASGOW ART CLUB in May.
